What is the UFO?

The United Fanzine Organization (UFO) is one of the oldest and longest running small press publishing co-ops, existing in one form or another since the 1960's! Its mission is simple; promote small press publishing by providing creators a support network for their work to be seen and critiqued so that they may improve their craft and carry on the small press tradition.

UFO members trade their comics or 'zines via the mail and help to
promote each others' work by featuring the UFO checklist in all their
books, providing readers a place to see work by other UFO'ers. In addition the UFO publishes their bi-monthly news letter entitled Tetragrammaton Fragments. (above right) In each issue of T-Frags, as it's affectionatley known, members provide reviews and constructive criticism of each others' work . Once a year the UFO releases its famed All-Comics Annual (left), a collection of material contributed by all members of the group.
